Gratitude for Nature’s Beauty

As an avid gardener, I cannot help but be in awe of how beautiful each plant can be when given the care they need to thrive. I have put forth much effort early this year to water, fertilize, and spend time with my plants. And they reciprocated my efforts with an array of beauty this September. My life got so interesting and so busy since I’ve embarked on a new adventure in the skin care business. When I needed to decompress and took the time to breathe, my plants were there to give me joy, reminding me to slow down and that.... life is beautiful just like they are. To this, I am grateful and more importantly, to the Creator of this beautiful earth and the things and people in it. As you think of your skin, think of how you care for your plants. Give it its best chance to thrive - by using nutrient-rich and natural ingredients along with your time and attention.  Be beautiful inside and out.  Dr. Em https://www.dremnatural.com/

Why Retinol For Skin Care?

WHY RETINOL FOR SKIN CARE? When it comes to skincare, retinol (ROL) is often hailed as a miracle worker, slowing down the aging process and even tackling stubborn acne. But what exactly is this wonder ingredient?  Retinol is a form of vitamin A, derived from the dietary breakdown of beta-carotene. When we munch on vibrant fruits and veggies—think red, orange, yellow, and dark green—our bodies transform these colorful delights into various retinoids. Vitamin A isn’t just a one-trick pony; it’s essential for maintaining healthy teeth, bones, mucous membranes, skin, and soft tissues. However, before you rush to stock up on vitamin A supplements, remember that more isn’t always better. Excessive intake can be harmful and may even increase your cancer risk, so it’s best to stick to your physician’s advice. Retinoids in cosmetics, like creams and moisturizers, often come as retinyl acetate, retinyl propionate, or retinyl palmitate. It’s crucial to remember that these topical ret...

Dr. Em Natural Beauty Care is One Year Old

Hello all! Can you believe that Dr. Em celebrated its one year anniversary this past August? And I have you to thank! I am grateful that we are all enjoying a lifestyle where we care about our health and wellness by staying away from products with synthetic chemicals and preservatives. Even a simple lotion you buy at the supermarket has so much harmful things in it that it's mind boggling why it continues to take space in store shelves! Well, not really mind boggling. Habits are hard to change and large companies control the narrative and our life literally. It would have been a different story if we happen to live in the UK. Many of the known chemicals that put people at risk for cancer and other medical disorders have now been removed from their health and beauty products. Perhaps, our great grandchildren's generation may see this change in our country. I sure hope so.....  I believe w e can do something small but hopefully with big consequences - by being good examples to...
